slct

pay as you go

Plan free. Pay for what runs.

Planning costs nothing. When SLCT runs the call on its own provider keys, you pay SLCT's usage rates out of prepaid credit. 1 credit = $1 of SLCT usage.

free

No charge.

  • plan: route contract, ranked decision, no key needed
  • BYOK routing: your provider keys, your provider bill
  • success tests and deterministic verification
  • hard caps on cost, deadline, attempts
  • receipts on every retained decision

metered

Execute on credit.

  • $5 of free credit, one time per verified account (not per key)
  • starter pack: $5, one-time card payment
  • standard pack: $20, one-time card payment
  • no subscription; credit lands on your account once Stripe confirms payment, shared by all of its keys
  • out of credit: execute stops with 402 OVER_BUDGET

the meter

List price, pinned.

Execution is priced from a dated list-price snapshot, and every execute response names the snapshot it was priced from. Budgets are reserved before a call runs, so two calls at once can't spend the same dollar.

landed cost

The whole chain counts.

Model price is not the bill. SLCT counts every stage it runs - the call, each retry, the check - and at execute drops any route whose estimated cost breaks your cap. A plan checks the cap against list price first: when even the smallest call on every route SLCT can price costs more than your cap, the plan answers 422 COST_CAP and names each route's floor. When a route fits on list price but has no measured cost yet, the plan says so in caps_unverified instead of implying the whole call fits. One misrouted frontier call costs more than a thousand decisions.
